WLAN Encryption does not work on ASUS WL-500GP

Description

The WLAN interface works on the ASUS WL-500GP only, if encryption is disabled. Neither WPA nor WEP worked with FreeWRT Revision 985, while it works perfectly with the original ASUS firmware. Altough the SSID is broadcast and clients see the network, no communication is possible over the WLAN. A sample oonfguration file, which does not work is attached. Or is there anything wrong in the config file?
