Description

Extracting kernel headers failed, because of these new requirements for tar usage with *

tar: Pattern matching characters used in file names. Please, tar: use --wildcards to enable pattern matching, or --no-wildcards to tar: suppress this warning.

Resolved - we don't use GNU tar any more, but instead roll our own (paxmirabilis, aka MirCpio?, which handles pax, cpio and tar, and maybe soon zip).
