I installed FreeWRT 1.0 and HEAD (~ 2007-02-01) on my WRT54G v1.1 via different methods (Web-Firmware-Update, tftp and via mtd-static from a running OpenWRT)

It never booted succsessfully;

Unfortunately I bricked my Linksys WRT54Gv1.1 after some soldering to get external UART stuff working. No other developer has such devices, so we need to remove support for these rather old routers. Sorry, either use OpenWrt? or try to find the bug. Before my router died I tried FreeWRT and found the same problem, no failsafe worked no access via ssh or telnet.

These crappy routers have no serial onboard and are very slow and crappy (125 Mhz, CPU Bug, see Broadcom README). We are to less developers to maintain crappy hardware. Sorry.
